The 1997 Miss Massachusetts Pageant which was
the last Miss Massachusetts Pageant held at the
 Zeiteron Theater in New Bedford.
 

      The last Miss Massachusetts Pageant  held at the Zeiteron Theater in New Bedford, Massachusetts was held on June 13th and 14th 1997.    This ended a twenty year tradition of the Miss Massachusetts Pageant being held at the Zeiteron.   WINGS was selected to do the video for this historic show.

                                        

    The above picture was taken directly from our video at this show.   It shows James Rogers, the President of the Miss Massachusetts Pageant, presenting flowers while Lori Flick, the 1996 Miss Massachusetts, crowns this years Miss Massachusetts, Samira Zebian.

     Samira Zebian, Miss North Shore 1997, is a junior at Boston College majoring in Biology and Economics. During the pageant she performed a Celtic step dance and spoke on winning the war against tobacco.  On September 13th of that year, she represented Massachusetts in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City, which is seen every year across the nation on ABC.
