FRANK WING ATTENDING 2009 NAB IN LAS VEGAS
Frank W. Wing of Fall River and President of WINGS Television, Inc. will
attend the National Association of Broadcasters Convention this week (April 20th
to the 24th) in Las Vegas.
This convention is the world's largest electronic
media marketplace and features solutions across the entire media spectrum of
content creation, management and delivery. There will be about 100,000
attendees from over one hundred different countries registered for this year’s
2009 NAB Convention.
NAB is unlike any other convention in the World.
From Hollywood to Bollywood, Beijing to Buenos Aires, Cannes to Cape Town,
Montreal to Mexico City, and Sydney to St. Petersburg, the global community of
content professionals converges at the NAB Show™ – uniting the creative process
with the converging technologies powering the future of content creation,
management and delivery.
The show is attended by leading media, entertainment and communications
professionals and covers audio, video, and filmed content across multiple
platforms – from the internet, television, radio and computers to phones, the
big screen and beyond.
Over twice the size of any other event of its kind, the NAB Show has evolved
over the last eight decades to continually lead this ever-changing industry and
serves as the global launch pad for digital media technologies.
Wing says that he tries to attend this show ever year because of the ever
changing technology taking place in the communications field. He is a member
on the National Professional Videographers Association as well as Past President
of the American Videographers Association.
