White House Letter
The below letter to Mayor Lambert from White House Chief of Staff,
Andrew Card shows some of the success Frank Wing's efforts have had
in helping Mayor Lambert and the Greater Fall Fiver Area in it's
fight to the Weavers Cove LNG Proposal.
Wing has
been in contact with the White House and the White House put him
in contact with the person in the
Federal Energy Commission
that is heading the Fall River LNG Project. Wings said
that he asked this person to call and talk to Mayor Edward Lambert
directly, which he did. Wing said that both parties agreed that it
was a good and helpful conversation and that they both agreed to have an open
line to each other in the future.
Wing said that he has told the various officials in
the Bush Administration that he has talked to that this wasn't an issue
of "Not in My Backyard" but one more closely of one of "Not in
My living Room".
